| ![]() My Sassy just had a litter of two. A boy (he passed away, so heartbreaking) and a girl. We decided to keep the girl! We've gotten offers for her (she's only 3 days old) and we are not letting her go! She's adorable and has such a personality for being so young! I've always wanted two yorkies and now I've got my little girls. They bring so much joy to my life. Im just so worried about someone coming in my home and stealing them. In a year or so I want another one :-) LOL! |

| ![]() I am blessed with four yorkies. If someone would have told me I would have five dogs total at my age I would have told them they were crazy. I can't put into words how much I love my furbabies, they make my live complete. They all love each and love my 17 year old chow-mix, she is old and I worry how my yorkies will be when she passes.

| ![]() Thank you very much for this thread. I am going to buy another one but I need your help. Piccolo turned 13 months two weeks ago and I don't know if I should buy a puppy or a 1-2 years old. And is it better to get a boy or a girl? I contacted a few breeders and I can get puppies or 1-2 year old both girls and boys. I don't know what to do. Please, please help me. So many of you have more than one yorkie and you know the best !

I don't think you can go wrong which ever way you decide to go. Is yours used to playing with other dogs? and if you get an older one, make sure they meet first and that the new dog is used to playing with other dogs.

Mine play hide and seek around my island in the kitchen every night while I'm fixing supper. than later they play tag around the furniture in the living room. This morning we had about 6 inches of new snow. I shoveled a path around the outer edge of the patio. Ollie could get around the corner and crouch down behind the snow waiting for Chachi to come by and then jump on him. I think they play so much like cats becuse they were bred to be in the same profession as cats. Exterminator.

I saw a 9 m old girl today and I liked her a lot. Maybe I'll take Piccolo to meet her, There are 2 more girls there but only this one is for sale and one is pregnant and I'll have the first pick of her litter. Piccolo really needs a friend and I want to choose the best fit for him.

| ![]() I have 3 girls and wouldn't have it any other way. I remember thinking when I got my 2nd, How enjoyable it was to watch them play, now with 3, no contest. When Starr wears out Sissy, it is Chloe's turn to get worn out! Chloe had her nose in the air when I got Sissy but only for minutes. she was too curious to see what it was in my bag. She was 8 months old then... When I brought home Starr (only 5 months later), she had no idea what I was carring. I pulled her out and sat her on my lap next to Sissy & Chloe. Well, Sissy was very interested BUT Chloe jumped off the chair and left the room. She would not talk to me for at least a week and when I tried to talk to her, why she would just leave the room I was in. But at night, she still came to bed with me and snuggled. I never let the 2 baby sisters in bed until way olater-I left that to be Chloe's special time with Mom. NOW Chloe is "Mama Yorkie" to both. Nothing and no one better hurt the baby sister's of hers... She is a great Big SIster. The one thing I will always do tho, is allow Chloe to get her greeting first, then I say OK Now Sissy's turn, then repeat that for Starr. Chloe loves that & I do believe she understands she is the first to be greeted!

| ![]() I think having our two is great because we never have to leave one home alone. Also, it's great dressing the girls like Twinkies. I also agree with double the puppy kisses! One is more attached to me and the other is more attached to my husband. They are kind of like warm, fuzzy slippers. What would you do with just one slipper. Everybody needs at least a pair!!! ![]() |
