| Hey Amber, we have 'another' thing in common - my BF is a truck driver also! I so can relate to your 'phone calls' - LOL! He just got a local driving job though so now he's home every night. Not so sure that's always a good thing

| Wow...your life sounds strangely similar to mine...lol. I only have one daughter, but she's 2 1/2 and in that stage where everything is about HER and only HER. I spend most of my day keeping her from destroying every room in the house and trying to keep peace between her and the dogs. I think there's jealousy on both sides there. And I so hear you on the hubby calling!! Mine works out of town a lot, and sometimes he'll call several times a day just to chat...which is great, most of the time, because I love hearing from him when he's gone that long...but why is it always during the most chaotic time of day? He'll call right when my daughter is hollering for a snack, or chasing the dogs around with some obnoxiously loud toy, and has all the dogs riled up and barking, and it just happens to be the exact moment that supper in burning on the stove and I'm trying to finish something for school on the computer, and I probably have my mother in law or grandma on the other line trying to think of a polite way to hang up on them, and at the same time the UPS man or a neighbor or someone will come knocking at the door, without fail. I think maybe hubby likes to hear the commotion...makes him feel like home. Anyway, I hope your day is MUCH better today and that all your babies are behaving! |

| You poor thing. What memories you brought back. My youngest is now almost 17, but when he was born I had an 11,8, & 2 yr old. My husband also worked out of town all week and only home on the weekends.Thank goodness I was a stay at home mom. Oh and we also had a schnauzer that started peeing on the floor when we brought our youngest son home. I know it probably doesn't do much good now, but one day will you look back on this week and laugh and say "where did the time go". I hope today is much better for you. p.s. I'm sorry to laugh at your misery, but you were so funny. You sound like my daughter talking about her 2. |

| Hey Amber - Hope today is going better for you Mine is starting off yucky - Hoku wouldn't go poop after her breakfast and I waited and waited around and finally had to put her in her kennel. So now I'll have to run home in a bit and have her try again cause I'd hate for her to have to hold it 2 more hours. And then my BF's son dilly-dallied around this morning and missed the school bus and there was a big fight. Ugh!

My last dog was the first not to have Giardia. The others 3 over 6 years all did but no symptoms. My Mi-Ki puppy, I told the breeder to test the puppy (I paid) and he had it so he was treated before I took him. All of her dogs, 15 of them, had it. She's the President of one of the four Mi-Ki associations that fight among themselves. I never had it in any dog I bought before 6 years ago. I always isolate a new puppy from the other dogs for at least 10 days in a room away from where they are. I guess one has to expect it now, no matter who the breeder is. | |
