I saw on the new tonite ..that part of the area got hit with an ice storm and quite a few are without power.

i live in MO... i don't know exactly where this lady lives but i live in St. Peters which is 15min outside St. Louis. i grew up in St. Louis. i haven't looked up the address yet.
we didn't have power saturday. they say eveyones power should be back on by tomaorrow night. but they are really bad about getting power to everyone in a timely matter... i mean REALLY bad. i can help if you like. just tell me what you want to do!:D

this woman lives in the city from what i get from the directions... sounds like she lives near my grandmother... none the less i know the area. and i don't think anybody down there is in the power outage cause it hit us the worst than moved east and thats the city of St. Louis.

i dont know what to do she emailed me all night last night but today nothing i dont know her number

i mean like i told the other lady that offered to go down there that im going to wait till tomorrow night to see if there is any response maybe till till thursday because of the storms but after that. im gonna give up on her

Wow!! I cant believe the nerve of some people. That is sooo ignorant. Battling the courts to compensate her on something that is federally illegal.
That should have an interesting outcome.:cool:


Also, I would just like to throw in my 2cents. I did buy my yorkie in missouri, great breeder, everything was perfect, but Missouri is one of the biggest, if not the biggest puppy mill states. I would just be hessitant. I live in Nevada and I always see ads in Texas for yorkies at decent prices. You would probably be better off buying closer to home and wouldnt have to pay shipping.

im talking to some lady right now about a male or female at about 100 or 200 dollars more but we can go get the puppy i mean i gues thats fine too. she sent pics but hasnt emailed me back tonight but its late also we will see tomorrow

1st is boy and 2nd is girl

Also, you might look in the yorkies for sale section. I saw several for around the price you are looking for. ;)

I would go for that one. That way you can see the puppies and pay for it there

Yeah, the real me wouldn't have the guts to even try. LOL

Hey! I live in MO now. I know a few breeders, breeding myself, but I haven't actually run into a puppy miller. There's one I would qualify as a puppymiller down in AR, tho. I bought one dog from her and I do have to say that no matter what her set up looked like, the dog was a good one. She's on her way to 2 years old and I wouldn't trade her for anything.

I will ship puppies but I also believe that you should look close to home first and during your search. There's nothing like being able to go see the puppy and talk to the breeder in person. Sylvia

As I said before, I am very glad that you got the money back and will get a puppy that you can pick up.

I just have to say, though, weren't any of you uncomfortable with the fact that woman's medical history and private life is on the internet for the whole world to see?

I still wouldn't send her money but I feel embarrassed for her that her privacy has been so invaded.

Aw, honey, don't return that stuff. You'll get another puppy, and you'll just have to rebuy everything.

I did a mapquest search on that address and it is less than 20 mi from where I live. We had a really bad ice storm and we were out of power for 4 days. I don't know if the entire area has been restored yet. We just got ours back on yesterday afternoon. Maybe tomorrow or Sat I will drive by there and snoop around just to see what's up.
