Yep when its too good to be true you can just about bet its a scam

You are very lucky..with all the snow storms and power outages, she no doubt couldn't pick up the money gram...this is such a scam....$450 for a shipped puppy is not for real...what a shame...

TX it sounds like a scam to me too, but even if it is legite $450 shipped spells at the least puppymill and I hope that if this does come through that you get a healthy pup. Now here is what to do; If you do not hear from this woman by tomorrow AM call your local prosecutor/district attorney (Not sure what they call them in your state) and ask if they have an internet fraud division. With the info. you have email addy for the woman, mailing address etc. They should be able to get a proper name and address for this person and help you out. Most local agencies have an internet fraud division. I hope this works out for you. Elaine

thanks hopefully she will email us back tonight
i mean i guess she didnt know the money was there or thinks she has time to pick it up because of the storms. who knows.

well if she emails you back tell her you don't feel comfortable with that form of payment. I would just be weary of her because as stated above she could be a puppy mill

I'm so happy for you and the right puppy will come along....just think of it this way - you could be out the money AND a puppy if this lady was what we all think she was....and now at least you have the money for a new deposit on a REAL puppy.

you were very lucky she hadn't picked up the money...and please.... never wire money to anyone unless you know them very well.

I wouldnt give money to her no matter what the method of payment. $450 for a shippedd puppy is a scam. It costs $200 just to ship a pup. That means she is only getting $250 for the pup. No breeder sells that low and then on top of that goes through the hassle of shipping

I am so glad you cancelled the Money Order. It just sounds fishy to me! What breeder wouldn't give you their phone number?

Anyway it looks like there really is an Evelyn Crudup in Missouri see this https://ecf.moed.uscourts.gov/docume...SSA-DDN-16.PDF Did she say she was disabled?

There are several breeders in the Fort Worth area. I would really recommend you find someone closer where you can see what you are getting.

You are very lucky. I highly recommend you locate a breeder near you to purchase your puppy.
