| How do you know if you dog is show quality? I think everyone thinks that there dog is the cutest thing.....well I know i do but how can you tell if they are show quality??

| i have had a couple of show people look at mine. But it is really hard to tell until they are older. Do they conform to the AKC standard is the main thing. Now, I do not show and don't really have a clue if this is not the way. |

| quality Go to an AKC show, afterwards ask a few few breeders to look at your dog..I have asked Judges to go over a dog after the show was over..pick a jusge that judges Yorkies... |

| shows I never saw it as a problem with outdoor shows...some indoor shows are stricter..I would take them a small carrier..plus, you are going to the grooming area where the breeders are when they are done, not the ringside.. |

| I was interested to see that the AKC standard doesn't make any mention of male dogs having to be entire, with two descended testicles, in order to be shown, as the British standard does to comply with Kennel Club rules.
