This is great news! I always wonder what else can be done to help stop puppy mills. Even shutting down one like this might make other puppy mills reevaluate their standards! :thumbup:

Write letters in your state ....I use a master letter and just make changes applying to the particular mill or whatever but you CAN do your part - the more people complain - the better chance the laws will change

A few years ago we had a puppy mill closed down in our area. Those poor puppies they found. Hopefully, one by one all of them can be closed....for good...

I just did a search for this kennel to see what info was out there. and when I came to a bulldog webpage I couldnt help but go and look. ( i used to have one) Anyways I was looking at a pup and I noticed this:

SINCE WHEN DO YOU CALL SOMEONE ABOUT A DOG AND HAVE TO HAVE A REFERENCE NUMBER????? I have never heard of such a thing. They obviously have wayyyyyyyyyy to many dogs if they have to go buy a number instead of by name.

That is why I asked in a post a while back, "How many dogs do you have to have before you are considered a puppymill?"

Too too many obviously :( I know in some places they can have over 750 dogs. They just have to pay higher state taxes on them.

Brushy Creek Investigation UPDATE

I just wanted to let you know that we are well on our way to broadcasting a report on Brushy Creek. Our News Director (my boss) is very excited about the story and it will air during the most important ratings period of the year, "February Sweeps." To get the largest possible audience, it will likely air during a newscast that comes on right after "American Idol."

We are currently scheduling interviews with people wronged by the kennel. Thanks to Villette and others, we are lining up some really strong interviews that will be an essential part of telling this story. I can't thank the folks here at YT enough for all your help and support. I hope the finished product will make you proud.
