The Venerable Ones Wholeheartedly Concur -- Welcome to the Club, Max, and thanks for the double assist from our Southwest Chapter! Max couldn't be any more handsome! |
Been away for while Hello everyone Charlie and I have been away for while and were wondering if we need to re apply to be in the teapot club??? |
We've got a pledge down here in Georgia, and he's quite the peach. Jaeger is 8.1 lbs at 6 months....so we'll see y'all in 6 more, I suppose. |
Bump for application approval motion...12.2 poounder King Elvis sponsors both the above pledges, in emotional support no financial sponsorship other than eggnog bribery is provided. |

Charlie was approved long, long ago by, hmmm, let's see: YOU! The fact that he's been away doesn't mean he needs to reapply for membership. Once a Teapot, Always a Teapot. It's sorta like the Marines. As for ancora_imparo's Jaeger, while his 6-month weight is impressive, he, too, cannot be "sponsored" until a picture of his expanded adorableness has been posted here. Only then can the Ancient and Venerable Ones who know all and approve all be awakened from their meditating slumber to consider the application. |
1 Attachment(s) Name: Jaeger (He also answers to 'fuzz head') Age: 6 months Weight:8.1 lbs A Brief Description: He is adept at escaping from any tiny crack in the fence/door and breaking out of his cage. He has never met a stranger, and isn't terribly fond of ceramic teapots, but at 21 inches long, he's our "stretch" yorkie, and he wants you all to know that that makes him a "limo-" cuz he's that important. *winks* I have more pics, including some with a teapot, but I'm having technology issues this morning and will upload them asap |
He's a Gazelle Yorkie like Schoobers my schnorkie!!!! |

Well, he's half doxie....so, he's quite the low rider |
A Dorkie! Great fun names for pet owners to use. We think Scoobers is part racoon and part deer at times. |
Norman would like to resubmit his application to Club management. When he last applied he was deemed to be too 'svelte' as he had only just surpassed the weight requirements. Evidently there was concern from the 'powers that be' that if he took a long walk he would no longer qualify for membership. So, if at first you don't succeed - try, try again - especially when trying to get in to such an exclusive club! Norman is now 17 months and a whopping 7.7 pounds! We humbly resubmit his application for your consideration (again!)...of course, we know that a current photo is required - how the heck do we attach his photo? (He's so disappointed in my lack of computer skills...) |

Hey, I know that look! It's preceded by "treat, breakfast, lunch, dinner, food, kitchen, or hungry!" |
Norman is SUCH a cutie. i love his hair cut! |
He's perfectly adorabke! Love his nibbin all but my scoobers have nubbins docked too short. So glad you posted a pic another perfect teapot. |
teapot club Hi, I have a teapot as well. His name is sonny, and he's about 12lbs. I was told by breeder he wouldn't grow to be over 5 lbs, and showed parents of 3-4 lbs. I'm thinking wasn't the real parents shown to us. But he's much bigger then 5 lbs, but more to love and hug! |

Having said that small dogs can throw teapots...it just happens. Same as two 7got pound yorkies bith with 6the pound parents can throw a 2a pounder teacup. Nevertheless welcome to the super exclusive awesome owners only of teapots club!!! |

While he is still svelte, he has lost any hint of baby fat yet still maintained his full Teapotness. Thank you for reapplying. With that sturdy physique, Norman will be groomed as Sergeant at Arms! |

The length is amazing! He might be our first "Magnum Teapot!" |

I love to see the latest members of the teapot organization. I kind of wish they would invent a different category of Yorkies that would be a 10 to 20 pound range. With the Yorkie personality they would be fantastic family pets and fun to take on outings in more rustic surroundings. I love my little Yorkie. She is perfect for my life right now but I can see how that personality would thrive in a more challenging environment!:) And they are so darn cute! It does make me sad to see the cast off teapot Yorkies that were sold to people with the promise that they would be under 5lbs. There is a really cute teapot sitting in a shelter in a shelter in the NYC area. Anyone? |

I didn't even know what a Yorkie standard weight / requirements were before I adopted Miles. All I knew is that I was going to adopt a beautiful, sweet dog. I think that under 7 lbs. (AKC would actually prefer 4-6 lbs.) standard is a little unrealistic INMO. Of course I am sure that the folks on here with the tiny little Yorkie will beg to differ. Someone on here once said that "IT should be spayed" referring to someone who wanted to breed their dog. I think it was a mixed breed, but still "IT"??? Yorkies were developed from medium sized dogs originally weighing 20-30 lbs. so those genes are still present in the dogs somewhere. Oh well, what to do. All of our teapots are beautiful regardless of AKC standards ;) |

Yes, people do get rid of them because of size. The tiny dog is a fashion statement these days and the puppy mill suppliers will say anything to sell those puppies. Lots of "over sized" Chihuahuas and Maltese and "designer" dogs go in those shelters, too. |

PetHarbor.com: Animal Shelter adopt a pet; dogs, cats, puppies, kittens! Humane Society, SPCA. Lost & Found. I hope they didn't put her down. Usually their picture will stay on there a couple of days with a message if they were adopted. She never had such a message. He picture was till available this morning. I'm going to the website to look. www.Petharbor.com Animal Search: ADOPTABLE, No she is not there. There were three others that were in that email this morning that have their photo missing now and no adoption announcement. Now I feel sick. |

[QUOTE=MommytoMiles;3965762]Oh god.... Maybe admin error not posting that she was adopted?? I HOPE!!!!
