Hi everyone! We were hoping to bring Muffin home from Dr. Bob's today, but we didn't get to.

She was doing pretty well & then at lunch time she vomitted twice. She's on some meds for that & she hasn't gotten sick since. She's also eaten twice, so that's great! He's happy with her now, but wants to keep her one more night, just to be sure. I'm fine with that because I feel so much better knowing they're watching her & can do something if she gets sick again!

Hopefully we'll know by 9am tomorrow about bringing her home! Our house is definitely not the same with out Her Royal Highness running the joint.

What can I say? It's Muffin's house...she's kind enough to let us live here.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all your prayers & support...I'd have gone crazy (crazier?) without YT!

Thanks for the update! We are so glad that she is doing so well. Little Muffin will be home before you know it! We will pray that she has a restful night and be ready to come home in the AM!! Hugs and puppy kisses from Toto!

The furbaby is home!!

We had more ice/sleet last night (which the weathermen totally failed to forecast!), so we had a slow trip to & from Dr. Bob's. We made it back in one piece. This surgery was a little bit tougher for her...there's more bruising & tenderness, but she's not in any pain & is acting like herself. Just a little bit slower! And frankly, that's not a bad thing because it is easier to keep an eye on her that way. Mommy's not nearly as fast as Muffin, even after two surgeries!

She's got Rxs for antibiotics & pain meds, same as before. She doesn't mind them at all, thank goodness! Her tummy trouble from yesterday is all over with...she ate & drank immediately when we got home. This time her stitches will be in for 15 days before they get checked. Last time they were taken out a bit before they were ready & that was absolutely no fun.

A great big "Thank You" to everyone here at YT for their good thoughts & prayers! Between the weird winter weather & the surgery itself, I was wondering if I was going to make it. I'm so happy to have her sitting next to me, sleeping up a storm!

I am so sorry Muffin had to have more surgery but thank heavens
the outcome was a good one.
Prayer's coming for her to recover and get back to herself real soon.

Please keep Muffin in your prayers...this surgery was harder than the last one. Her incision is 10 inches long & she wants to chew on it.

sending prayers for muffin and you. I know my sister in laws dog (sassy) looks like she had a fight with a chain saw which her dr said she would after all that. Good luck and prayers with you.
