| It may have been you I answered in another thread. Anyway - try giving her calcium (Tums, Ice Cream, Cottage Cheese, etc.) Sometimes a low calcium level can cause this behavior. Nancy M. |

| she seems dont like them, she not every go near them. I force her to nurse the babies and she shake so hard. I am feeding them the puppy milk every 2 hours and they are doing very good. |

| i had the same problem almost with Kandy. She did not have a section. Just didn't want to stay in with the babies. I had to feed round the clock with a syringe because they wouldn't suck from the syringe. I had to get in the x-pen and hold her down several times a day so they could nurse. then at three weeks, she completely quit them. Now that they are seven weeks old, i put her in about twice a day and she just stands there and they grab on and nurse for three or four minutes. Some dogs are just not good mothers period. this is such a contrast to my Silk. when she had her little pup, she didn't even want to leave it to go potty. this kind of threw me for a loop but I have hand raised them with very little help from kandy. |
