| ![]() I think that is small. My little Summer was 3.5 pds when she was the age and I am guessing she is still. She might have gained some weight after she got spayed. Abigail on the other hand is 9 pds and she doesn't look that big she is just long and skinny. Abigail is such a tomboy too. Summer is completly opposite.

| ![]() I think that's the perfect weight for a yorkie, small but not fragile. I always wanted one in that range but actually got one that's working hard to reach 3lb, she is so fragile that she broke her tiny little leg jump out of the bath tub! |

| ![]() I think most of us think of "tinies" as being under four lbs. But....four lbs...that's still a very SMALL dog, isn't it?! I LOVE that 4-5 lb weight range. To me, that's really the yorkie ideal. Still small, but usually a little sturdier...you have to worry about them, and their health and safety, that much less.

I totally agree with you. I have to be so careful with Summer. She is so tiny she can't jump up on the beds or off them. She has been getting brave lately and jumping off the beds. I don't like for her to bc she is so small. Just like the other person said their little one broke her leg jumping out of the bathtub. I don't let her do that either. There are so many things she can't do bc she is to little that Abigail can do.
