You guys are the best. Thank you all sooo much for your concern and sweet comments. You have all made me feel so much better. I will respond to all the PMs I have just being going nonstop and haven't really had much time to be on. I did read them all though and want to say you are all so sweet and thoughtful. Thank you...

GOOD & BAD NEWS

I went this morning to meet with the Doc and they told me she had a seizure not long before I arrived. I nearly fell over, I got sick and felt like I was going to pass out. (I lost my first yorkie to seizures)

The Neurologist says the meds are "probably" what caused the seizure. He said that the inflammation has gone down some, (that is great) however they are going to have to lower the mgs on the meds. (we DON"T want anymore seizures) She also has not had a fever since around 4am this morning (more great news)

So my baby doesn't get to come home again today. I am hoping for tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear about Candi's seizure, Tricia, but it sounds like this vet is on the ball! And you probably feel better knowing they're keeping such a close eye on your precious girl. Great news about the fever! I'll continue praying & sending good wishes...hopefully changing her Rx will do the trick & she'll be home ASAP!

Oh Tricia still praying for "Sweet Angel Face Baby Pumpkin Butt Girl" to have a very speedy recovery and hope the lower dose of meds work!!!! I hope she gets to come home tomorrow but it sounds like she is in great care!

I have been thinking about you all day and am glad to hear some good news~

Im sorry to hear about the side affects of the meds, but Im glad that her fever broke and she is doing better! I can't wait to hear that you took her home! Hang in there! You're such a good mommy!

thank you Tricia !! I was gone today and didn't want to miss you if you called but this is even better ....I can't believe she had a seizure....oh man I hope it IS the medication poor baby.....I'm going to use simonandhallie's cute name and say I'm still praying for that little Sweet Angel Face Baby Pumpkin Butt Girl....& you hang in there mom !! she's in the best place she can be right now - and you know she's getting great care....the waiting is the hardest part.... HUGS and thinking of you ...thanks so much for posting - I was getting ready to track you down.

I just got a call from the vet and he said she is doing so much better very skittish but she still has no fever, hasn't had anymore seizures, and the inflammation has gone down a little more...

So I am going to see my Sweet Angel Face Baby Pumpkin Butt Girl.

oh man - thanks so much for that update cause I was so sad for you ...this is GREAT news !! Maybe the medication worked and she's on the way back to her little Pumpkin butt self !!

I'm breathing a little sigh of relief right now. Man, the seizure was scarey even for me. I will feel better when your Sweet Angel Face Baby Pumpkin Butt Girl is safe and sound at home with you where she belongs
