![]() Ok so when I got ritzy I wanted an at least 4 1/2 lbs. I looked at the parents and they were both average approx 6 lb for the mom maybe more and the dad was 5 lb. I picked the largest boy he was 1 lb 6 oz at 8 weeks. He grew and grew the last time he was weighed about 3-4 mo ago He was 2 lb 3 oz. I weighed him because he seems so much bigger now and he is only2 lb 6 oz at 10 mo... I ahve been telling everyone he is 4 lbs as I was SURE he was bigger, He ahs nevr had one health problem and is a happy boy but 2 lbs scares me!Bon

![]() I know it is so strange.. I would like to see the size of the others in his litter. There were a female and a male. I have pix but he looks avere\age in pix unless you see him up next to something.. He is a pretty little boy but I sure wish the silver would clear on his head. I am hoping it doesnt stay the silver/washed out gold color. My 2 yo female finally cleared most of her colors.

![]() Are you sure your scale is right? He could still fill out a little more and put on a little more weight.

![]() Bonnie -- Your little Ritzy is precious! But I do understand about all the concerns of having a teeny tiny one around the house. The biggest problem I have with little 3.25 lb. Peppy is that HE doesn't realize that he is small. Every chance he gets, he dashes down to the barn and does the kitty tango -- and when the neighbor's min-pin comes for a visit ![]()

![]() I don't know what others here think but at 10 mos old he still has some growing to do. I have found with mine that they can gain some significant weight between 10-14 mos old. They seem to get their height then start filing out at around a year old plus. Mine always have anyway..... ![]()

![]() Well... A pound is better than nothin. I was hoping for at least 5 lbs... a pound would put him at about 3 1/2 lbs He doesnt go out unless I am with him and if I am not he goes into a big pen that has a cover on it. He REALLY wants to go out. We lives far out and there are Owls, Hawks and eagles daily.. He sleeps with his best friend in his big wire home at night, I used to let him sleep with all of us but he got to where he didnt like it ,,, too much rolling around and truthfully I am glad. He got to where he would jump off the bed at night and not use his stairs I held my breath every time. I just changed him from Chicken soup to Lamaderm puppy.Maybe that will get him going on weight. Bon
