| When can i bathe him???? Ok my baby was neutered on thursday 12/28 and his stitches came out on saturday 1/6 when can i bathe him. When they took out his stitches they didnt even let me go in i think it was done in like 2 minutes if that at the most. When the vet tech came out i didnt even get to ask her any questions im not happy with my vet. But i did get to ask her when can i bathe him and she said 4 days. How long did everyone wait to bathe their pups?

| I think not going into an exam room for the suture removal is pretty normal.... I waited in the lobby for all my animals to have them removed (at two different clinics). Like you said, it probably took 'em 2 minutes tops. I gave the pups baths the day after they had their stitches removed. |

| Scruffles had dissolvable stitches. I gave him a bath after he healed 100%. His incision healed so quickly and was hardly noticeable after a few days. You can probably bathe him by now. |

| I could stay in when Pepper's stitches were removed. But I already gave him a a bath before(a really quick one - he was getting really stinky and I gave in 2 days before his stitches were due out...).

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | if the stitches are out feel free to give him a bath. i'm a vet tech and we always told owners that they can give a bath as soon as the stitches are out because the dog is probably stinky and might have some crusties where the incision was

| They also used the disolavable (sp) stitches with Venus. I waited 2 weeks after the spay, cause looked like she was pretty well healed by then. |
