I just went back and read that thread and definately seems like a scam to me!

Yes, how was this discovered? I'm so glad I didn't donate. I always want to help when I hear about a sick yorkie but I'm so glad I was not 'on top of things' due to the holidays regarding this one

OMG WTF! I know this sounds bad, but I'm so glad I had no extra money to donate.

I thought it was kinda odd how she kept posting about "if anyone wants to help with the bills...etc" but didn't think it was a scam. I wonder how much she got out of this? This is terrible. Now we know why theres the no asking for donations rule on here. You can't trust everyone.

How did you find out it was a scam?

For those of you who did donate, look at it this way: Atleast you know you have it in you to donate to a sick puppy that you believed needed your help, you are SO much better then some low life scum who would take advantage of that, and even if no one does get their money back, Karma does exist (I have proof!) and it will come around when she leasts expects it. If you did donate, kudo's too you for having it in you!

I'm so sorry to hear this, everyone was so caught up in this poor sick pup . This kind of thing really puts a sick feeling in your stomach.

On the other hand, I'm a little relieved there is no suffering pup. I really feel bad for the people who donated though, try to chalk it up to you tried to do a good thing for the pup. I'm curious as I'm sure others are, on how this info was found out to be was a scam.

Maybe admin saw it was the same ip number?

I had written to Admin when I noticed that kami and this joann had the same writing style, to check the IP's. They were the same.
