is it bad to buy a 4yr old yorkie??

i tried to take him, but the rescue guy stole him!! i wish i could be holding him right now i am soo sad.... i may be having my friend drive my mom to naples to get the dog. his name was louie, 4 years old, long tail and ears not clipped....i hope that helps,......if it is his dog please tell me and i can give you all the info to the rescue place.

I was meaning I would of took my nephews dog if they was going to place him at the pound.
This one is around 4 years old too long hair last time I saw him, with a lot of gray in it. His name was KoKo ears down and I do believe he had a long tail, not to sure on that. I been trying to get ahold of his mom, so far no luck. I was thinking that she would take the dog in but I dont know .I hope it wasent him.Ill try and find a picture of him and post to let you see if you think it was the same Yorkie.

Happy that there was another little one there that your mom fell in love with, maybe later she can get another little yorkie playmate for this one. Shi tzu's are adoreable, my sister has one. I am still sorry what happened with you not being able to get the yorkie, hopefully it will find its way into a forever home with lots of tlc.

i dont think it was koko...this yorkie didnt have much gray in his coat. i tried to find his link from the animal shelter but they already took it off. i am going to show the pictures you posted to my mom and try to find a picture of the dog....i will post soon

Okay I hope it wasnt him. Im still having no luck in getting ahold of his mom. So I dont know what they did with the Yorkie. Im hoping his mom will take him in, but dont know, she is the one that gave him to her son when he moved out on his own. Now that hes gone they might be looking for KOKO a home if they havent allready. If they are looking for him a good home, Would you want him? hes a very good loving dog. They have brought him here to visit a few times . My little male did not like him and would not leave him alone, So I know I couldnt take him in. But was wondering if they are looking for him a good home would you be interested in taking him? I know they would not sale him, but would give him to you as long as he had a good loving home. Im going to go try and get ahold of them again.

Sorry didnt mean to hog up your thread, Just when I saw it I thought of Poor KoKO. and maybe thats a good thing, with every thing else I didnt think about where he might be, So now Ill keep calling until I find out.

ok well.....i am really not sure if it is the same dog....i am sooooo sorry i cant be more help. the thing is we only got to see him for such a short time. unfortunatly now that louie (the yorkie we wanted) fell through we have now commited to getting another dog. my mom can;t handle more than one dog, and i financially cant take care of more than bella. but if something falls through with that other dog i will let you know and then we would be just THRILLED to take him. also, my best friend has been looking for a dog and came with us to the humane society today to find one. i know she would LOVE to take the dog if my mom couldnt. i assure you she is the most loving person in the world. her mom rescued dogs a lot when she was younger, so she was brought up always to love and care for animals. either way, the dog would have a very loving home. so just keep me posted.

sorry to keep posting, but me and my mom have been looking at the pics and i really dont think it is the same dog. i could be totally wrong, but me and my mom have been looking at the pictures for a while and we think the coloring is very different. unless the camera made him look diff.....please let me know when you find out if koko is ok......
