| cant get a bow or band in his hair hello everyone i have a silly question, how did you guys get your pups to let you put a bow or band in thier hair? mine goes crazy at the first touch of his hair on top of his head, he starts to put his paws over his eyes and head so i cant get a bow in there, and if i do get one in there its crooked and makes him look so silly, any help woudl work thanks

| They don't get used to this overnight, thats for sure! I'm still working with Venus on this and she's almost 7 months old. She's getting better at it though, the topknot is still there from last night. Usually by this time, its gone, and I'm hunting for it. Neither of mine will hold their heads where I want them when doing this! |

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | It helps to touch their heads a lot when not grooming, I think. Like the feet. She still hates having her toenails done; but, I think it would be near to impossible if I didn't just mess with them while she's in my lap, or napping. I was 'there', too. Now, Abigial comes when she sees the brush, and will sit for me to put in a bow. How LONG it will stay is another issue

| I started to put a clip in their hair from the minute they came home and now they love to get their hair done....especially Mimi she falls asleep on my lap while I'm doing her hair. I can say that it wasn't easy at first. |
