| Caught Breeder in lie! What to do? I was looking a a little male on a site. He is akc, I noticed they had another pup for sale 4 weeks in age difference, The parents were pictured for it, so I asked for pics of the parents for the other pup. She sent me the same pics???? I wrote her back and asked how that was possible, since they are 4 weeks apart in age. Mother & father are the same for 2 pups that are 4 weeks apart in age?? She got caught now what?? |

| Looks like they sure did slip up. I guess it's up to you to wait for an answer. Hopefully it was an honest mistake. Do you know the breeder's record for honesty? Good luck Carol & Buddy |

| Maybe Carol's right and it was an honest mistake, but is there really a way of telling? I would run

| I know some breeders work together. I'm thinking another bredder may have gave it to her. The little mother looks so pitiful. My main concern is that she is akc & sounds like she may need to go on the bad list. May have other parents but these are her akc so she passes then off to them, but it seems like that would be easy to get caught in. I dont know.....We'll see what she says-my guess is there will be no more replies. If she doesnt have a very good explaination I will report her to akc. I can see the male being the same, but when I saw the pic of the female-so disappointing because I knew those were the pics on the other listing. She seems to care about the pups, maybe she's one of those people that rather lie then tell the truth even if the truth is fine |

| She said her females are two sisters that look exactly a like, except one is a pound bigger & sent the pic of the other female, the bigger one saying it was the mother of the 5 wk old pups. But the smaller mother is the one she has pictured with the 5wk old pups. I dont know her stories are a little twisted but I guess she does own all the parents & hopefully the akc regs are legit. |

| Do you think she just made a mistake or was she trying to be slick? If so, that's a shame.

| I think she was posting the smaller female for both because everyone wants the tinest yorkies now. Yes it is a shame. I dont know what to do. I think she may have learned her lesson she said I was welcome to come see them for myself. Thanks for listening everyone. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | if she's in your area i would go visit before buying. if she isn't from your area i would pass on the puppies. i'd want to be sure things were legit before purchasing.

| I would not buy from a breeder that I didn't trust. Any red flag would be a good reason to tuck tail and run in the other direction. There are way too many good breeders out there with good quality pups to risk dealing with a shady character. |
