| I don't use the holder but I do use the tray that's open across the front and it has sides. It's actually a litter pan for dogs but it holds the pads really well. My boyz never tore the pads apart but the tray protects the floor. |

| I've never tried the holders before, but would consider it in the future, do they work well?

My furkids Donating Member | I use washable pee pads..they aren't dog ones though...I got mine from a hospital..they are used on the beds after surgeries..I have 2 of them...I can't use the paper ones...Sadie is fine with them but, Lillie (puppy) tears them up! and...they are alot smaller than the washable ones.

| I used to weight the corners down with something handy when Debbie was at that stage. Then I bought the trays as she'd often pee right off the edge of the pad. They clattered against the tile floor when Debbie walked on them and I think it scared her a little. I immediately stopped using them as I didn't want to scare her from the pads. I hope you have better luck than I did. |

| I use a holder. When we go to other places we just use pads and they end up shredded, but at home we use a holder and it works great.

| I had absolutely no luck with the pad holders. Poptart, maltese, loves shredding and tearing pads into pieces. With the holders, he would just grab the pad in the middle and tear it apart that way. So I finally beat him by buying the washable ones. He no longer can shred his pad. The first day I put it down, he went over to the pad to tear it apart but realized he couldn't do it with this type of pad. You should have seen the look on his face, it was priceless!!! Ha, score one for me!!!
