Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Morgan is sad i think morgan is depressed Last week i had off from work and we spent lots of time together. now im back on my regular work schedule, so its business are usual, except that whenever i'm not paying attention to her she just lays there on the floor and gives me the sad eyes. she's guilting me into wanting to stay home! lol i'm starting to feel really bad for her. she wants someone that she can play with all the time. i really want to get her a playmate but my mom won't let me get another dog. every time i take her to my boyfriends house she trys to play with the cat but the cat just sits there and stares at her like 'yeah right' poor puppy

| AAhh poor Morgan!! She just needs a playmate. Have your Mom check out all the wonderful posts about how much fun it is with two, three, four or more yorkie babies!!! Also, do has much as you can to take the daily workload off her, so she'll maybe be willing to at least think about it.

| Poor little Morgan. I agree that our pups don't like it when we leave them. Fall and early winter this year was hard for Sissy and I because that is when high school and jr. high swim seasons are and I'm gone every day for coaching for 2-3 hours during a time that I would normally be home. This is our first year experiencing both times as she came to me last year in November and when she was still a little pup and sleeping a lot - I don't think she missed me as much!! She hates it when I'm gone for any length of time!!

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i've tried showing my mom posts here about multiple yorkie homes. i've showed her tons of pictures and stuff. I've also found yorkies and other small non-shedding dogs that i could adopt but she still won't budge. i have a feeling tho if one just happened to show up on my doorstep she'd let me keep it. you should see morgan right now. she's laying in her little house with her head on her front feet staring at me with those big brown eyes. she knows i'm leaving in a few minutes. right when i started to put on my shoes she ran in there.

| Awww, poor little Morgan. I wish we lived closer so you could bring her over and she could play with Jaxon all day. Getting a 2nd Yorkie would be great and I'm in the same boat as you. I would LOVE to get another but just can't convince my hubby that it's the best thing. Maybe splurge on some new toys for her to keep her busy. Also, do you give her flossies?? They are Jaxon's favorite and they keep him busy for awhile. I'm sure Morgan will perk up in a few days once she gets used to the normal routine again.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Andrea and Kimberyly, your both right. morgan does need a friend and i've been looking all day at work cause i was bored. (not like i could actually adopt another but its still fun to look). she loves flossies. there are two somewhere around my room right now. she hides them when she's done with them for the day so who knows where they are AND she just got a butt load of toys for christmas. she has more cool stuff then i do LOL she should adjust soon. she just misses her mommy and i miss my baby. i wish i could run a home business so i could stay home with her

| Katy usually goes to daycare twice a week, but stayed home with my DH while on vacation for 2 weeks. She went back yesterday and played hard (they still had a lot of boarders). I could not get home fast enough for her. She was so ready for bed. She went home got in bed and didn't get up until this morning. When she did, she ate, drank went potty and went back to bed. I can play with her ears, tickle her and she just gives me this look like "Mom, I had a hard day today, leave me alone" |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I was also out of work last week and Bengi was in heaven. Now I'm back to work, but thank God my mom lives like 2 blocks from my house, so I talk to her, and she's going to pick him up every other day so he doesn't stay all day by himself. He would prefer being with me, but at least he's having some fun with granma and now with great granma as she's staying there for some months. |

| Kalina, I can totally understand that feeling of guilt. I planned to take Haruka to work three times a week originally but it didn't happen the way I planned. I take her to work EVERYDAY unless I have meetings outside. She has a little drawer as her office.. So she is not so lonely... I take here everywhere..... hiding her in my celltei bag. At night I am cooking or doing something else other than paying attention to Haruka, she is very good at playing by herself... she throws/or kicks kong by herself and chasing it. So I don't feel that she needs a playmate, but if I have to leave her, I would feel guilty too.
