| Adie made me break my toe! Adie was running around me while I was walking into the living room and in an attempt to NOT STEP ON HER I stepped short of where I would have put my foot down. I ended up with my big toe curled under my foot. I literally stepped on my own toe! Wow did THAT hurt! Well, there went the plans for dinner and dancing on New Years Eve! Has anyone else sacrificed his/her own body to avoid hurting his/her baby? In Adie's favor, however, She has been extra nice to me and seems to be real interested in the injury! lol |

| Ouch! Sorry that happened! I can definitely relate. Two weeks ago I was walking down the basement steps carrying a glass of soda and some snacks so both hands were full. Scruffles usually stays behind me, but this time he didn't. Luckily I was on the second to last step so I only fell one step length. Scruffles stepped infront of me at the last minute and I didn't see him, but felt the top of my foot touch his back. In the process of not trying to hurt him, I fell. Soda and snacks went flying and I slipped, but was ok! Scruffles, of course, immediately went for the snacks that fell! |

| Sorry about your toe but these little ones always seem to be underfoot. I have never actually fallen but came close to it several times reaching for the wall to break my fall because Buddy got underfoot. He always seems to be "THERE". Hope it heals soon. From what I remember it took me about 6-7weeks before it actually felt normal. Buddy wasn't involved in that accident that was my own fault. Walked into a door and broke my toe! Carol & Buddy |

| OW!!!!! Yes, I have wrenched my back very badly in order not to step on Starr in the past. I'm sure that these little boogers will get me eventually, now that there's two of them the odds just went up I hope that your foot heals quickly, I know how much that hurts

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ouch! I'm sorry to hear that. I think that we've all been "hurt" somewhere by trying to not hurt them! I stepped on my toe a couple of time, or hit the wall when walking thru the hallway... but it's ok, I love the facts that my yorkie is my shadow... |

| Better your toe than Adie, right? I know I'd rather have any part of my body be broken, than seeing one of my babies hurt! Sorry girl, but WTG on not stepping on Adie! And really glad she's giving you some sympathy, you deserve it! Hope your toe heals soon. |

| Oh my gosh. I am constantly falling trying to avoid stepping on my babies. I am a very large woman and I would not be able to live with myself if my fat self caused one of my babies harm. One time I fell while I avoided stepping on one of my babies, and we seriously thought I had broken a hip. Since then I try to shuffle my feet when I am moving about the house. |

My furkids Donating Member | Yikes! stepping on your own toe!!! now that takes talent! better your toe than the furbaby.. I haven't broken anything but, Lillies nail got caught in a sweater that I USED to wear....she paniced because she couldn't get free and the way I was holding her I couldn't get HER toe loose and, because she was wiggling around so much the sweater (it was kinda loopy) kept twisting around her nail sooooo...hubby had to cut a hole in my sweater to get her toe free..The is a body part involved here...just not mine...Lillie was fine but the poor sweater is no longer in use! O well! can always get another sweater!
