| I just wanted to add that I bought Diesel a sweat shirt. It is a little big one him so it isn't snug. He seems to like it even tho it is a little big.

OMG!! This is the cutest pic I have EVER seen!! I live in ND so it is COLD here. I love these fleece sweater/coats.. where did you get them? Do they keep those booties on? I got some for my chihuahua a couple years ago because his feet are so tender ( he is so funny, his feet get cold and he will just flop and lay until you go out and pick him up) but now if I try to put his booties on he will try to bite me!! He refused to walk in them at first, so I lured him with treats a step at a time. After a couple weeks of putting them on every day, he finally got tired of fighting me. He still won't walk in the house with them on, but once outside I think he actually prefers them. Jack is more accommodating. He wants to please so much, he'd let me put anything on his feet. As for mats, Jack's silky fur seems to mat no matter what I put on him. I deal with it by removing the coat as soon as we come in the house. Our groomer also recommended a good conditioner that seems to help comb them out.
