| I give Brutus a bath weekly and brush and comb his hair daily and this is what it looks like after just brushing it! I see other people's yorkies with such nice hair. He's 4 1/2 months. Is this a stage or is this what I'm in for? Also does anyone cut their puppy's hair? His beard looks like it's going in his eyes but maybe it will be better once it grows more? |

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | heehee - YES - it's the age ! He's a CUTIE !! I love his face and his colouring !! His pic made me laugh ... but it will grow - you could try a little boy barrette in his hair to keep it out of his eyes if you want him to have a bow eventually....or you can trim it and keep him in a puppy look - and no bows needed - but either way - he's a doll !!! |

| That's what Charlie looks like too. He is just 4 months old, and I am glad to hear that I am not the only one. I am also glad to hear that it gets better. Bella's coat is beautiful, and that is what I want Charlies to look like too. When does it start to get better. Oh, he also looks bald cause the hair on the top of his head is changing.

| I agree, I think its a stage. The puppy coat stage ![]() Max is 8mo old and has puppy coat and Missy is 9mo and has a nice pretty coat. I was just thinking today "I wonder when Max's nice coat will come in and he will loose this messy puppy hair look" lol |

| Where do you get thr right kind of rubber bands? And do you leave a bow in "unattended"?.. maybe they might try to eat the bow/barrett?

| I'm in the same boat as well. I keep Syd clipped short...but her groomer (my mom) just had a double knee replacement and will be laid up for awhile. So right now Syd is looking a little bit shaggy. (she looks like a little sheepdog) I don't have any recent pictures stored on my computer...or I would show you. So I resorted to the baby barrette idea a week ago. I keep it in all the time except at night. So far she hasn't gotten it out while I am at work...but even if she did it's made out of non-toxic plastic, so it should be ok.Plus she looks absolutely adorable with her hair in a barrette! So this is just a stage? What will it be like next? |
