This is just kind of funny. I was wondering if anyone else has stories like this: I sometimes call Monster puppycake or honeycake, well...now, if anyone says the word "cake" he'll go running like they just called him. He obviously still responds to Monster, but it's hilarious. Our neighbor was in the kitchen and said "You know, I need to make my signature Christmas cake" and Monster jumped off daddy's lap and came running to her like "Yeah? What do you want?" We all laughed.

My puppy rarely responds to hewr actual name. She answers to anything with poo or pup in it. So just a few of her nicknames are poo poo girl, pupernickle, pupcake and pupperface.

I usually call gracie punkin, cutie pie or sweetie pie. Once in a while I slip and call her stinky when she does something she should not. I suppose she will start responding to anything containing the word "pie" if I don't watch it!

Oh goodness, I have SO many nicknames for Stedman

Steddy, The Stedster, Sted, Stud, Studman, Studmuffin, Mister, Fuzz (his daddy calls him that - and no I don't know WHY

) lol...also Punkin', and Turkey Butt

He has MANY a nicknames, and I'm sure there's more where that came from!

I call Scampers, Scampy, Scamp, and my favorite "pretty boy." Everytime he hears it he perks up and acts all proud, lol.

Trixie is called teddy bear, trixie pixie, trixie poo.

Destiny is called Desi and small fry.

Peppi is called pepper ann, moocher.

Poptart is called Popy or Poopatart.

Sugar is called Sugar Baby and Candy is called Candy Bear.

Ben -- Benny, Baby Boy, Benster, Baby Cakes, Ben Peein' or Ben Poopin' (those last two are from DH who thinks he is quite a joker!!)

Sadie -- Sissy, Baby Girl, Sadie Loo or Sadie Sue

They are still puppies and I am trying to keep with Ben and Sadie so as not to confuse them. They both know their names but Ben only comes when he feels like it. Sadie on the other hand, is always happy to be called.

Merry Christmas -- still not a creature stirring here!

Tetley doesn't know his name yet, so I really should be careful about calling him all these different names until he gets ONE right! LOL The names we've been calling him include 'little man', 'puddin', and 'cuddlebug'.

dee's Lil' dixie Dollbaby aka "Little Fart". She was so small when igot her at nine weeks that my hubby gave her that name and it stuck!!!!!!!!! it is the only name she knows. She weighs four pounds or less at one year old so she is still a Little Fart.

Jerome= Jeromee, jeronimo, jeromito, chaparrito, peludo, just some of them.
Chiquito= Chikis, Chiki, papito, guero, yellow dog, trompita, mocoso, big guy to name a few.
both Chikis and Jerome= papi chulos, chaparritos, little angels, sweet angels, sweetie pies.

Pooper, Penny-poo, Poody, Cakes, Senorita Pennequa, Pretty Girl, Baby Girl, Stink Pot... I could go on forever. My latest nickname for her is Cookie.

24 hours in our home and Riley already has a nickname, too. Riley-Bear!
