I use frontline plus. i bought it at drsfostersmith.com this time and it was cheaper than at the vet. i looked and the advantage for 1-10lbs, 6 month supply costs $46.99 so that sounds cheaper than what you're paying. i go together with a friend so we only pay s&h once.

Do you have a link to that? I put in petsupplies.net and it takes me to PetSmart's page and they do not sell the rx type flea and tick meds. That is good price. I use Frontline Plus but would be considder switching. I think I am paying about $50 for 6 applications. We use a whole one on our dachshund and Jak Russell and split one for the Yorkie puppies; so 6 applications only lasts me 2 months.

Does anyone know if one brand is better in any way than another? I really like the sound of the Revolution and it looks like it costs about the same as what I am paying now for flea/tick alone! I still have to buy the Heartguard too. I also like the no pill method.

To those who buys flea vials from online, do you ever have a counterfeit problem? How can you tell the real from the fake? If you never have a problem with fake products from online, which website do you buy it from and what brand do you use?

wow I've finally found something thats cheaper in Australia!

I use Revolution, which costs me about A$28 for 3 tubes and Drontal All Wormer which is about A$10 for 4 tablets

I am thinking I will switch to revolution too. . .Waiting till I finish off the current stock though. I bought alot so that my hubby wouldn't have to deal with ordering it this summer while I am gone.

Funny thing that. I am leaving for 4 months and I am getting more prepared for him to take care of the dogs then I am for him to take care of the rest of the detritus that I do. . .

I switched from frontline to advantix but I'll switch back even though frontline doesn't protect from mosquitos. I also had the Australian frontline.... hmmmm... was not really sure if it worked quite as well...

And it's just a fancy word for the little things in life that I do...you know, pay bills, buy groceries, orthodontists, riding lessons, laundry. . .but it does make it sound more interesting and substantial then the rest of my errands/responsibilities.
