| When I take my babies into the store I tell them they battery operated. ...LOL... ..My parrot will even acted like he is sometimes.. If you try it just expected to be asked to leave with the your pet and be prepared for to leave them in the car..

| Out of curiousity, do you determine whether or not a store is 'dog friendly' judging by if they don't have a sign posted? I mean, I know WalMart does (took Vixxi there about 10 times, the workers adored her, until one time there was one angry woman who told me that she wasn't allowed. I pretended to be really surprised and pointed out that it was upsetting that so many other workers would approve, and that they really need to enforce their rules better, lol. However I respectfully haven't taken her there since; I just think if a store has policies it would be easier to follow them if the workers actually went along with it rather than encouraged it.) and a few other stores do as well. I like taking Vixxi with me just because she enjoys traveling and loves my company. Anyway; to those who do take their pups out with them; do you go by the rule that 'If there's no sign posted saying they're not allowed, it's okay to take them in'? I mean, at least then when somebody came up to you in one of those places you could reply with, "Oh, I must not have noticed the sign; where's it at?" |
