| are dog carriers safe? i bought bella the alex dog carrier. i was told it was very safe but the vet told me not to leave her in there longer than an hour. the thing is bella is with me all the time. i hardly ever leave her home. i always have food and water with me to give her, and always take her to the bathroom, but sometimes i have her in there for a while. she gets break like when we are in the car and stuff. is this ok, or am i being horrible?????????

Chewy has one carrier that he gets really warm in... I don't like it cause I think it doesn't have enough ventilation... You want them to have lots of air so they don't get hot! Chewy likes being with me, and I have a few different carriers... but I never use that one.

| this weekend i took layla in her carrier for the first time into the mall.. it's pink and just looks like an oversized purse.. she HATED going in.. i had to lure her in with treats... but then she just layed down and had a nap.. i was SO shocked.. i kept sneaking her treats and some people noticed a dog was in there.. but no one made a fuss about it... she was in there for about an hour and seemed fine... layla likes to look around and there is mesh on each end.. so i'm sure she was entertained the whole time. your pup will let you know when enough is enough! |
