OMG. I am so sorry. I can't even tell you how upset it makes me to think of someone taking your baby. And the poor puppy in the box breaks my heart. How can people be so cruel? I just don't understand it. I am so glad you were there for that little puppy, you were his angel. I am sure that your baby will find an angel too.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ace missing! My heart goes out to you and what you are going through! Don't give up hope...some dogs have been found after being missing for weeks! As for the little one in the box, thank goodness you found him before it was too late. How sick for someone to do that!

I live in town. I am going to try to convince my husband to keep the puppy. I feel like I was meant to have her. She cries alot!!!! I think she's just so terrified. If it wasn't for Ace missing then I wouldn't have found her. God works in mysterious ways. We don't have any hawks or owls and Ace was on the covered patio too. The gates were all latched but I'd taken the lock off the one gate because I went to Texas over the weekend to see my husband and my sister came over to feed my fish and birds and hamsters while I was gone. (She only has a back door key so I had to unlock the gate for her.) I really beleive that someone took Ace. The phone call I received was a wrong number on top of it all.:( I shouldn't have left him outside while I answered the phone. He just had to potty so bad. I figured it was ok for just a minute. I guess I was wrong. I am hoping and praying that he will be returned to me. I advertised him on the radio missing and offered a reward for his return. (No questions asked.) I put posters up all over town with his cute little face on them also. I feel I've done everything possiable to find him. Thank you all for being here for me.

and I'm so sorry things don't sound good but don't give up hope ...I read your earlier post about Ace and your other yorkie fighting and you had said he man need to go to a new home - did you speak to anyone about that ?? do you think someone decided to take him ???

I am so sorry! This is just horrible! I would just start calling everyone, police, animal shelters, vet clinics etc. call in surrounding areas also.
I would go knock on every door in my neighborhood and start talking to people, someone saw something. A car, a strange person walking around the neighborhood.
Somebody has been watching you, (sorry to scare you) but somebody knew you had a cute little yorkie and just waited until you had him outside to go potty and then calls you on the phone?! Strange, do you remember what the voice sounded like?
Keep on talking, someone knows something! For me being Proactive really helps me from going stir crazy! Have you by any chance called the breeder you got him from? or stopped by?
Also by doing this, it will warn other small breed owners to keep an eye out, they will get caught!

I seriously think if you had gates and he couldn't of gotten out that someone must have stolen him! And plus you had a telephone call with the wrong number....could it be someone that knew he was outside and has your number and knew you would answer? I'm so sorry. I hope you find him...and I also think that you finding the little girl puppy was meant to be. I'm glad she's safe.

If there are any kids in the neighborhood ask them also. They are like the neighborhood police here and always seem to know when someone gets a new pet. I hope you find him soon! I know he misses you!!!

I did notify the breeder but I got him from one in Kansas so she's not around here. I have talked to all the police and animal control around here. Also the kids and I have knocked on every door around here. No one knows anything or has seen anything. Unfortuantly this happened around 10am so most everyone around here was at work or in school. I hope we find him soon. I had not talked to anyone about Ace and Kitty fighting and possiably finding him a new home. I would have contacted his breeder and let her help find him a new home if it was to come to that. I don't know what to think about this whole situation. I'm so upset with myself for leaving him outside.

Lord, please let this baby come home to his family safe, sound, and soon. I can't imagine what you're going thru. It sounds like someone took him.

I remember awhile back someone posted about a lost dog and he/she had gone several blocks away and they found him/her........we might want to spread out your door to door search too!

I would have a policeman go door to door w/ you tomorrow or tonight! A friend of mine had a little Shih-tzu that came up missing one day.....no one seen or heard anything.....she had a cop go w/ her around the houses to talk to people and they found the door......turns out some little old lady wanted it and took it (why, how, who knows), but the presence of the police helped greatly because they heard a dog and my friend just knew that was hers, so the cop kept questioning the lady and she caved and brought out the dog. She had cut most of its end tail hair off because it was a certain color just on the tip and that was in part of the description on the posters, etc. So she was trying to hide the dog, hide the description of it's tail, etc. My friend had been to that house earlier and never would have found her furbaby unless she hadn't have had a cop go around w/ her a second time! It doesn't hurt to call them and ask them.

I am hoping to here good news!!!! You and Ace are in our thoughts and prayers tonight!!!!

Kitty, I suspect Ace was dog-napped. I am so very sorry. Bless you.

I think you were meant to have her too. God saw two in need -- it was no accident.

I also believe someone took Ace. Do you have caller ID? If so, look at that number and track it down -- that phone call was no accident either. Someone set you up and the phone call was a planned diversion. Sounds like a team working the area. If you do not have caller ID, see if the police will trace the number for you, or maybe even the phone company would -- but probably easier for the police.

Do not take any of the blame for this. You should have the right to believe your Ace would have been fine for the few minutes it would take to answer the phone. No one can elude the true criminals. I pray Ace will find his way home too and in the mean time, give that little one you saved some loving.

I do have caller Id but the call came up private number. I am taking the new pup back to the vet. She does nothing but cry. I'm worried that she may have internal injuries from being thrown out the window of a moving car. I really hate to take her back to the vet since that means another car ride and she screams bloody murder if you put her in a car. I really hope Ace is found soon. At this point I kinda hope someone picked him up because it has been really cold and raining here for the last several days. It would be better for him if some one has him then him out on his own in this cold and wet.:( It is just breaking my heart though.

Yes -- great minds do think alike :) Did you know that there is an online site that you can just type in an address and find the phone number for that property? It is the reverse address search at whitepages.com -- so any crook around can see your address and then do a search for your phone number even if they didn't know the name, which is probably on the mailbox as required anyway. It is just too easy these days for people to get our information. And then so easy for them to block their identify as they did with that "PRIVATE NUMBER" trick with the caller ID.

I do think the phone company can still track that number down though. I would still contact the police and ask them to do that.

The phone company has been notified about the "call" and they told me they won't track it unless it becomes bothersome that they continue to call. I talked with the police too. I'm not sure what they will do. I had a storage shed broken into a year and a half ago and checks were stolen too. The person/s that took the checks have written about $1000.00 worth of checks and the police department still hasn't even wrote a police report.:confused: I hate the police around her.

I did just advertise that Ace is missing on the radio and I had a call from a guy that bought a yorkie matching Ace descripiton about 2 days ago. I am not sure that it's the same dog though since he's across the state from me. He paid 900.00 for him and didn't get papers. Unfortuantly Ace isn't microchipped and Ace didn't know his name yet. I'm afraid if it is Ace I may not get him back. What should I do?

Ask the man for a picture of the Yorkie via email. You could most likely tell from a picture. And, if it is Ace and the man called you, he's obviously going to give him back...unless, he took him and is holding him for "ransom" just to make $900. I hope that's not the case!!! Good luck in finding him.

The problem is I offered a reward but didn't say on the radio what it was. This guy asked me how much reward was I offering. I told him $100.00. I am not sure I can scrape up that much but I would beg or borrow it from family if I need to. He said he wants his $900.00 plus vet bills returned or he would keep the dog.:( I'm not even sure this is Ace. He said the dog was completly shaved even the top of the head. This is a picture of what Ace looked like when I last saw him.

I would see if the man could email you a picture and you email him a picture. If you think the match might be possible -- drive over there and see. Rightfully, if you have the papers and he does not, the police would probably side with you on a custody issue. But it would be worth it to me to offer to split the guys $900 with him and offer a $450 reward. He should not have bought without some ownership proof. I would also be suspicious that he was the one who took him and was looking for a reward.

It would make sense that if people are snatching dogs in one area they would take them a ways away to sell them.

I wouldn't give him squat. He needs to get the money back from the person he bought him from! Not only that, he sounds like he's scamming you on purpose!!!! He wants 900 plus vet bills. And if you have papers and pictures of ace and they match, I would go to the cops!!

He said he doesn't have a computer to email me any pictures. It will take me more than 4 hrs. to drive to see the dog he has. I don't have any papers on Ace yet. I won't get them until he was neutered. (His appointment is after the holidays.) All I have is my pictures I took of him and my vet bills. Also sounds like this dog was just shaved down so my pictures won't look the same as the dog. I can't afford to give this guy any more than $100.00. I'm not sure what to do. I am waiting on the police to call me back.

I think someone is messing with you....why would he ask how much the reward was?

He probably has Ace and is trying to fool you into giving him money to get him back..and he didn\'t really buy it from anyone he had him the whole time.

Its some idiot playing games..that doesn\'t even have the dog..and wants you to send him the money through like..check...and then he\'s going to say..oh i\'ll have the dog shippied to you..or some b.s. like that.
