| Is $1200 a lot to spend on 6 month old? Hey everybody Happy Holidays! I gotta ask is that too much shes a young 6 month old yorkie with championbloodline on fathers side? The breeder was asking 1500 I told her 1200, a little about her the reason she is being adopted out is because shes too small for her breeding 3 lbs 110zs and has a slight underbite? She said shes very playful use to other dogs obviously and also still loves the cuddle lap time fine with me lol! I do have a netured 8 month old boy name Howard we are simply looking for a playmate/pet. She is 100% paper trained but Im a stay home mom so I will be able to watch her outside using doggie door, I will drive and meet her halfawy into Winston Salem on Dec 28th shes meetinganother lady there bringing her 2 biewer puppies. Oh she AKC and up to date on her shots, I agreed to sign a contract for 3 teeth to be pulled and spayed guess the reason for 1500. Ok Ill get the famous EM here on YT to post her pics cant fig that one out just yet!!! Thanks everyone for your input Rory |

| That is a good price, since you know basically what you are getting. What kennel is she coming form - who is the name the person uses for their line? The inder bite can still change right now at this age - if slight. If it is way off - no and then price would be less. Bite could be off sue to baby teeth. But this is normal - retaining them (smaller yorkies ones do this). But I would want to meet her at her home, so you can see where she is coming from and to see the parents. Ask if she will let you do this. If she refuses - something is up. Best of luck. T/ |

| I'm in Va. Where is this breeder located? Rehoming due to size sometimes happens. I have a 51/2 month old now that is just 3lbs. 6 oz. She has excellent show potential but may end up too small to breed. I took her to a show this weekend and she strutted around like she owned the place. I'm hoping for a growth spurt! Paid $2000. for her so $1200. with a slightly off bite isn't bad at all, especially if you didn't plan to show her anyway.

| Maizee was about $700 and I get her sister for about $300 since Maizee has a hereditary condition, but I would definitely spend that much if not more just to have all the joys coming from owning a yorkie . If it's worth it to you, then the puppy is definitely worth the price! |

| I think that is a great price, too. Especially since she already has all her puppy shots and will be spayed and have her baby teeth removed when you get her. You will have no costs other than feeding her and her annual vet checkups. And since she is 6 months old, you know exactly what you are getting as far as size. No surprises. I say GO FOR IT! I paid $900 for both of mine, but I had hundreds and hundreds of dollars in vet bills due to checkups, puppy shots, spaying/neutering, ect. ect. ect. So, $1200 is a great price! |

| I think the price is good. A big factor of price is the area. In Calif yorkies usually start about $1000 and then way up from there... 6 month old is still a puppy. Good luck to you. Hope you can post pics soon.
