Please help, my dog isn't neutuerd...

A neighborhood lady ask me to mate him with hers, but her yorkie wasn't old enough last year. I did agree to let him get off 1 set of puppies before I was to have him neutuerd. She begged me to wait for her yorkie to get older, but has since MOVED and I have not spoken to her. Needless to say, it's been very hard to find someone with a female for mating, so I let the thought go. Now of course time has passed, (also due to my procrastanation) and he is in heat overdrive. He was never a big humper, but is now humping. I do notice he's more agressive and snarling when he plays.

My son took a picture of Kodak because he was limping, and his penis had grown really long. He didn't know what to do or if Kodak needed help. I gasped when I saw the photo.
Can someone tell me why his penis came out at the length that it did? This may sound stupid, but is that like a hernia? Also, is it to late to get him neuteured, and is it expensive? I am going to make some calls to some animal hospitals, I don't really know if I want to use my vet. Please advise. Please excuse the typos.

OMG poor boy It's not still out, is it? If you can't get it back in by lubricating it with some KY or something similar (safe!) then he needs the vet right away.

I hope he's okay, I have no boy doggies, I just read about it here, on the "Lipstick" thred in the Emergency section here.

No, it's gone down from earlier today, he's been okay since, but I don't want it to happen again. Thanks for the info, going to read the other post.

i guess their lipsticks come in all shapes and sizes. romeo's is almost as long as his legs. sometimes it stays out , but it always goes back in.

i don't think it hurts because he doesn't make any pain sounds. he just sits proudly licking it. the size is obsene. my mom makes me bring him in the guestroom when it comes out. lol...
