| Sending prayers your way. I can't believe the vet saying that also for low blood sugar. Piper was so sick when I got her, she had coccidia & giardia. Got her on antibiotics & she loved cottage cheese. I tried feeding her anything she would eat, since she too was so small. I ended up getting her to gain weight on yougert & cottage cheese. The breeder was feeding her ground beef, because she didn't eat much. She was just over a pound at 13 weeks. Needless to say she eats fine now. It took a month or so to get her better. She's now a whopping 8 lbs at 8 months. |

| I know it is much better for him and much less stressful I just hope they give him the care he needs to make it..I wish I could bring his mom home with me for a few weeks for his comfort while at the same time knowing that he is being fed every couple of hours if he doesn't chose to eat...it's just easier seeing that he is still breathing rather than just hoping and praying that he is alright in someone else's care...I just hope he is alright right now and having a good day with his mommy...if her milk is dried up she won't produce more and nurse will she? Probably a stupid question I just don't have much experience with momma and baby dogs...never bred them or anything..???? |
