BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | 9 months and no heat Lillie is going to be 9 months old on the 14th and she still has not went into her 1st heat cycle. Last time I had her to the vet, she told me she didnt want to spay her until she was bigger. Should I be concerned that she has not went into heat yet? |

| I don't know, because of her size, but Emilee didn't have her first until the day before she turned 17 months old and Gidget didn't have hers until she just turned 16 months old. I think the average is between 6 months to a year, but as with people, they are all different.

| I don't think you should be concerned. Every girl is different. I will tell you my girl went into her first heat when she was about 15 months. Thank goodness she is now spayed and we have no worries. |

| My vet actually mentioned to me that it is most common for them to go into heat when the seasons change to spring and fall. Not sure if anyones ever heard of that but maybe!?!? |
