| I used my carrier way more often when Pepper was a little puppy. To take him to the vet so he didn't get in touch with other dogs (who might've been sick). Or almost every day to work, he drove in the car buckled safely in the carrier. Sometimes to the bank. But he no longer stays quiet, unfortunately, he jumps inside and queaks... I stopped running errands with him. It's kind of hard to shop anyways holding the carrier, squeezing through people and trying to carry all those items I intend to buy, all at the same time. Actually, right now, he stays in his carrier only in the car

| We saw a girl in Target yesterday with a tiny black puppy in a cutsie little pink carrier. The poor little thing was hanging on for dear life...being tilted sideways, swinging forward when she leaned over and bouncing around when re-adjusted like a woman with a shoulder strap on her purse. Not that everyone is this unaware or inconsiderate but I felt sorry for the poor little thing...to her it was just another accessory. I take the boyz into places where they are allowed and I carry them right in the front door in my arms...antique malls etc...but I wouldn't want to sneak them in somewhere. |

| I take Lily as much as I can. If you get them use to it as a pupy they love it as they get bigger. I take her with me on any short trips to the bank, to get gas, the kids at school, she sits in het console seat and LOVES it. If I am going shopping in town like fabric store, pet store, clothing store or even our mall I take her carrier and she is quiet as a mouse and loves to go. I guess I take her in just about all places, except any with food. I haven't had a problem yet, but then again most probably don't even know she is with me. The girls at JoAnns love her.

| I guess I am a "bad mommy" - the only place I take my two is up to our deer camp on the week-ends. Occassionally, I'll take them with me over to my mom's house but not often. When I had my first yorkie, Katie went just about everywhere with us - we would sneak her into Wal-mart, grocery store, and she always went with us when we went over to hubby's mom's house. But after kids started arriving, it was bad enough to keep up with them when they were younger much less an active yorkie. And now, because we live out in the country, I'll stop on my way home to do my shopping, etc. before going home so they aren't with me. I too have thought about getting a carrier, at least for Gage as he's smaller than "Miss Piggy" Gabby but then, like you, where would I take him in it?
