| Teeth! Layla is now 14 months old. She started losing her baby teeth at around 6 months and as far as I knew they were all out by about 9 months. I got her spayed and wasn't told anything about baby teeth still being there or having to be pulled or anything.. Anyways, tonight she was chewing on a hard treat for awhile, and just now I noticed her chewing on something small and white so i took it from her, and it's a tooth! It's one of the back "molar" kind of teeth. Is this normal? It seems to be a little late, unless it's a tooth that's not supposed to fall out! She always likes to bite on pillows, just stuff it in her mouth until it's way at the back and she can sit there for an hour or more without moving. Would she still be growing new teeth?

| I don't know if it's normal or not, but I know Maizee lost her teeth up until around that age. She also has two rows of teeth on the top of her mouth though and that doesn't sound so normal. . Not sure if this helped, since Maizee seems "special" in that area, but hopefully someone else can shed some light on this for you |

| Thanks! Last night she didn't seem to chew on my pillow at all, and she usually does that every night. Maybe it was just a sore loose tooth that whole time.

| my Layla has been the same way (great name by the way!) she got 4 teeth pulled because they were coming in and her babies weren't out but last week... a molar came out! i feel like i don't know which ones are babies and which are permanent... so i just keep assuming more will come.. she is 9 months. |

| Hmm... I just looked in her mouth and it doesn't look like there's any new teeth where that molar came out, and on the other side it looks like it's still there. I guess I can assume it's a baby tooth still since it's not as white as her other teeth. And on another note, I think the tooth fairy came last night. Her molar was sitting here on my computer desk, and now it's gone!
