| Doggy Diapers? Hello, My little male won't hold it through the night, he pees on the floor, or worse the couch. He is 2, he's plenty old enough, and he doesn't have any bladder problems, if you crate him he holds it no problem. I have to crate him during the day while I'm at work, and I hate to crate him overnight too. He hates his crate and runs and hides when I get ready to leave for work. I was wondering if I put a diaper on him would it make him uncomfortable enough when he peed to make him stop? Has anyone ever used them? He'll probably just pull it off, but I was wondering if it was worth a shot? Thanks, Whitney |

| Belly bands work well for boy doggies. My toy poodle must wear them all the time now that he's elderly. Since they're really made for accidents, I put a Poise pad in them so I'm sure he's not overflowing the band. He's perfectly comfortable and never complains. BUT you do need to be attentive to the private area and keep it clean. |

| My little guy is 14 months old, and I still put a bellyband on him every night (and some other times too). But - he almost never wets at night - and never has. I just put the bellyband on him "just in case." (My bedspread has to be dry cleaned.) He is so used to wearing one that I don't even think he knows it's there. Once he had it on - ran outside, lifted his leg and pee'd on a bush - still wearing it. So - this would be the perfect answer for you. **** I just use a washcloth - wrap it around him and pin it with a diaper pin. If I ever notice it's damp - I change it immediately. Good luck! | Doggie diapers make me giggle. They are just too cute! My neighbor has bichons and her boy has a leakage problem. He wears one 24/7 and she swears up and down they are the best thing out there for dogs. |

| pics of Yorkie in belly bands I just posted some pictures of my furboy sporting his belly bands! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=60681I love the belly bands ...for me they are a lifesaver. I keep them on my furboy when he is out of his ex-pen or crate. He never has to wear one to sleep as he stays dry all night but when I have him out and can't hold him I put one on him. They are absolutely great for visiting also!

| Hello, Thank you for all of your help and ideas, I appreciate it. I'm going to try to pick him up a belly band and see if it helps us. He usually just leaves little puddles, but it's not fun when you sit on the couch and sit in one! Thanks, Whitney |

| A few people on this site make/sell belly bands. See the thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60375 |
