| I couldn't believe what Adie did last night! I know that everyone's yorkie is the smartest dog in the world so this may come as no surprise to anyone but I was reallly taken aback last night with my brainchild! I bought Adie a cute little hamster toy that has a string to pull to make it wiggle and vibrate. (It is really a cat toy from Walmart.) I now know that no mouse will be safe in out house because Adie would pounce on the little hamster the minute I pulled the string. A little while later I looked over at Adie sitting in the middle of all of her toys. She had the hamster between her front paws and was pulling the string out with her teeth. She would then let it go and pounce on the hamster till it stopped moving then pull the string again. I had to call my husband in from outside because I couldn't believe that she had actually figured the whole thing out but he agrees - she knew exactly what she was doing and was doing it on purpose. Wow what a little smartie! She will be seven months old on Friday! I wonder if I could teach her to do housework! Does anyone have any super brain stories to share? |

| Maizee does the same thing with her kitty mice. She tosses them across the room and pounces on it. It's really cute when my cat starts batting it around and both Maizee and Skytlz will go after it. |

| I think dogs are smarter than what most people think....what is that saying, dogs don't remember anything after 5minutes or some crap?! That is crazy!! How do they remember their name, or to go to the door to go out, or who their momma is? What a cutie she is! Yes, I too, will be looking for one those toys tomorrow at Wal-Mart.

| My coworker took her yorkie outta town to visit relatives during a holiday. The house was full of people and they were all hanging out in the dining room. Her yorkie emerged from another room with something in her mouth. When she got closer, they kneeled down to see a tail hanging out her mouth, and it was a real mouse! Everyone hopped up and the ladies scattered and her dog then released the mouse. I told her the yorkie history tells of how they were used to catch mice. LOL

| Adie has pulled the string out so many times now she pulled the whole mechanism out of the stuffed toy. SHe left the toy sitting and started carrying the mechanism around with her. It looks just like she is carrying a mouse by the tail. She can still get it to wiggle and vibrate when she wants to so no loss there, I will hopefully be able to fix it for her. I'm actually thinking about going back and getting her a dozen more so she can have one if the one she is playing with breaks. They are only around $3.00. And Oh yeah, Walmart also has a battery operated mouse or rat and it t looks pretty real. I think that is 6 or 7 dollars. That is going into Adie's Christmas stocking! Thanks for the compliments too. Adie is a smart little thing and has a great personality. She is in Week 6 of puppy classes and usually has the command down pat by the next day! Thank God - I'm a lazy trainer. |

| We went to Wal Mart last night to get Joey a mouse, brought it home he looked at it and that was it! We tried to get him to play with it and he didn't care one bit. This morning is a different story! It was so cute, he is pulling the string and won't let any of us near his new best friend!! |
