| Hartz Vs Frontline I have found two ticks buried on Buddy in the last month! What's up with Frontline? I called the co. and was told that Frontline does not work on "ALL" ticks. What kind was it.? How would I know anyhow? While shopping yesterday and knowing he was due for another dosage at this time I saw Hartz plus 4. It covers everything Frontline does, is guranteed to work or money back and does not say anything regarding only covering certain ticks. I bought it and applied it. Guess what? It has to have Avon's "Skin So Soft" in it because it smells just like it! Buddy smells delicious. Now let's see if it works. Frontline $35.00/Harts $12.95 for 3 months. I have not used Hartz products on Buddy. Only the best however in the past I have used Hartz flea collars on my past pets and never found anything on them. In this case maybe the less expensive product will work. Just wanted to share. Carol & Buddy |

I have had luck with my shepard (17yrs) and my terrier (16yrs) and they wore the Hartz collar all those years with no problem. Sometimes we get carried away with labels. Thanks.

| We tried the Hartz on Hank once and he started acting sickly afterward. After trying it we looked it up on the internet and saw sites where people had reported sick animals after using it and there were some deaths. I got a little worried so we hurried and washed it off. It could just be Hank's system or something but we're back to the Advantage which works well on him. Hope it works okay for you. |

I'll keep an eye on him. We use skin so soft on ourselves with no reaction and I am sure that is the main ingrediant. I know the scent.
