| I will be honest.. I am to the point where I just don't care if they use the word teacup. It is only a word to describe the size. Yeah, it sad that they use the term to make more money. The fact is that a lot of Yorkies are small. The one Yorkie that I saw that was 1.2 was small but not that small. Diesel was 1.8 at nine weeks. He is 5 pounds now. I saw a video on the site and I must say the Maltese and the Yorkie look very well taken care of. They both look clean and happy. It is still a shame that she is charging so much for them but with all of the extreme prices out there it really doesn't surprise me.

I wish the price of small breeds get back where it's susposed to be. Just because someone an outrageous price does not mean they get a better dog but many people fall for that claim. | |

| I'm embarrassed that that's a Canadian website. It's so wrong to breed down to unhealthy sizes. And then put insanely huge pricetags on them! |

| One of the breeder I was talking to was charging $3000 for a female. I couldn't afford so I had to find someone else. Granted that her puppies were very very cute and very small. And she only had 2 female yorkie, one was rescue and the other one is the mommy. Dad was very good looking dog but not her yorkie. So she devoted her time to taking care of these puppies and her 2 yorkies. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | They are nutts!!!!! I hate how they use them to make money. They other day I read in the paper an ad; they where adverting "teacups" and it said " You have to see them to believe them. Parents weight less than 3 pounds" LESS THAN 3 POUNDS??? I hope they are only talking about the male, because if they are breeding a 3 pound female they are killers!!!!!!! |

| I thought this was funny: "Puppy Weight Chart - A true teacup is to be 2 to 4 pounds full grown with 3 pounds being the average and under 8 inches tall." Since when do we have "true teacups"?
