Won't eat when I'm gone.....

Yep! Bengi doesn't eat when I'm gone. I feel bad because I'm gone in the morning and he won't eat till I get home after 5 PM. When I give him some wet food, he might eat a little bit, but I don't really want to give him wet food. But I don't want him to be with an empty stomach all day either! What if his sugar goes low!!!! Maybe I should give him a tbsp of wet food in the morning just to make sure he eats at least something...

Ceasar would say that it's because they respect you as the head of the pack. My babies don't eat until after I do. It's a show of respect. Roxie will eat first and than everyone else (usually).
