OK, now I know there is no such thing as a teacup, but i still want a yorkie so very much, is there a breeder anywhere near Detroit Michigan, I live in Riverview, but can travel to check out a breeder, please if anyone lives near here, respond and let me know.

You may have better luck if you post in the general discussion area or the yorkies wanted area. Good luck in finding a responsible breeder I'm sure people will have some suggestions for you.

When I first began my search for my baby, " i wish I had found this site before" the first "breeder" I spoke to had just had a new litter she sold "teacups" as I was aking her questions I found out that the mother only weighed about 3 lbs. i kindly told her I would be in touch, and never called again, even now I cannot help but think of this poor dog and what she must go through for this womans greed.

I know there is no such thing as a teacup or Micro but how do I describe Ellie? I don't want to promote something that is false when people ask what she is. Because I don't want to promote her type, it is inhumane the way these pups are made.

How about shes a Yorkie and the smallest of her litter? The words micro and teacups go right through me to my anger button, as it does many others here Not fond of the word runt either....but maybe this would make them stop and NOT search the internet for teacup etc? You certainly wouldn't want to endorse the breeders who breed and sell MICRO and Teacups....etc...

I like that she is a yorkie she is just ... well... small. And heck no I don't want to endorse micro or teacup at all! It's wrong and horrible.
