| ![]() I read so many things online for people looking for Yorkies. I know from experience that they are REALLY hard to find in my area (New England), especially ones that are affordable. I was thinking of breeding someday (like 5-10 years from now - not anytime soon). It is something that I feel passionatly about, but I would want to do it right (which is why I want to do 5-10 years of research!). I do not want to do it for money. I would not expect this to be any form of income. Since I am giving myself so much time, is there anything that I should start doing now? Is there any advice that breeders out there have for someone who would like to start doing this? I know this is vague, but I am serious about doing this right, and if it takes me years of preparation before getting started - so be it. Thanks!

| ![]() I just had my first litter, well my Annabelle did. It was a great experience. I would say read up on it as much as possible. Being on this forum you will learn a lot. If you get a chance to see a birthing that would be great. Good Luck.
