| Both Topher and Sophie sleep with us, snuggled into my faux furry blanket that both of them love. (I had to drive two hours back home from the cottage this summer to get the blanket for Topher 'cause he couldn't sleep without it!) We had to go out and buy a new bed two weeks ago so we decided to get a king sized because of the dogs AND our teenagers!. If we're lying down in bed watching a movie, the kids love to come and curl up with us. Being as the kids are pretty much grown now, our old queen sized bed just wasn't big enough for everyone anymore! lol Oh...hubby made the most wonderful ramp so both furkids can get up and down off the bed with ease. The big bed is great 'cause now the pups have lots of room at night to snuggle with us and we don't have to worry about squishing them. Best thing I ever bought! |

| It's actually their bed. I'm their pillow and hubby is just an extra. I'm going thru that change.... yes hot flashes and all. With both Winston in my left arm and Maggie between my legs or on my left hips and hubby sandwiched on my right. Those "2 o'clock need to potty mommy moments" is the greatest....on a cold night, I just go out and cold down. It's impossible to not have my babies with me when I sleep. I love the snuggles too much.

| Both my yorkie and maltese sleep in our "king size" bed......there's plenty of room; even room for one more! We have stairs for them to get up and down as it is pretty high and they have not problems using them.

| I sleep with both of mine and it is great on cold nights. It takes two yorkies to keep you warm. |

| Daisy and Teddy both sleep in the bed with us. They get first pick and we sleep in the space they have left us. That is the way it should be. LOL

| Am I the only one not sleeping with the Yorkie?? Hubby says 'no'. Pepper sleeps in the kitchen in his bed. He comes and says good morning a few minutes after 6 AM every day though

| Maddie use to sleep in her cage with her bed, but last week she got spooked about something and started barking like crazy.... it was like 2:00 in the morning, so I went and got her and put her in bed with us.....Well now, She has learned if she barks and keeps barking we'll come get her. She likes to have her blanket between me and my hubby and will lay on it. So I started off good, but now I'm a guilty one. lol lol |

| Well I may as well admit to myself as being just as guilty, Peeka sleeps under the blankets under my hubby's arm, Dutchess sleeps at my feet, Raven sleeps in the middle, Emerald makes her rounds through the night sleeping with us and my daughters, and Sheeba she would rather sleep in her clothes basket, stealing daddy's socks and disinigrating them before morning time!

| Guilty! I caved. I was really good and for the first year I kept Diezel in the crate at night during the week and then on the weekends I would sleep with him on the couch once the BF fell asleep. Then I started slowly letting him in my bed when my ex-bf would not stay over, and that went on for months. My BF was not having him in the bed with us for 2 reasons. First off he was terrified that he would roll over on him and hurt him. and the 2nd reason is Diezel gets very excited to be in the bed and even more excited when someone is in the bed with him. And being a serious licker and with his constant need to touch me at all times he takes forever to fall asleep. Moved into a new apartment Oct. 1st and for the first week Diezel did nothing but yelp and cry and bark and whine and it was not his usual sounds that he makes trying to get his way. Something was bothering him so I did away with the crate. A few weeks after moving in the BF got the boot and let me tell you I have never been happier having Diezel in the bed with me every night! I cant beleive it took me so long to give into having him in bed with me. I guess I was trying to find balance between my 2 boys. But what I learned is that there is 1 boy in my life that will always be #1. Funny thing is I am not the cuddling type (with men) I love my space.. but when it comes to Diezel I can't sleep unless I feel him touching me oops sorry this was so long.. hehe |
