| Snouts After looking at all these pictures, there are a wideeeee array of snouts! lol (Speaking of length) There are some short snouts and some longer ones. Then, there are some real round ones and some slender kind of "pointy" ones. Whats the normal snout size? Haha, it sounds like a silly question. Fred doesn't have a short snout but he doesn't have a long one either! In his baby pictures, I already guess that his snout was going to be a little bigger than most Yorkies I've seen and it is! He's grown and there's a huge difference. I'm not sure if you can see it in these pictures. The first one was when he was a few weeks old with the breeder. The second one is from the first day I got him home! I haven't had any new pictures of him. A burglar stole my camera! Last edited by natalie; 05-08-2005 at 02:13 PM. |

| Snouts Pictures It's funny that you just posted this thread because I was just noticing the difference in my two boy pups snout! LOL! I had to take a picture of them side by side for a lady and I was just sitting here noticing the difference and I'm curious about it!! Here is a picture I just took. They are 38 days old today. The pup on the left, little boy green, has a shorter snout and the pup on the right is little boy blue and he has a longer snout. The second picture is little boy green by himself. My disk filled up so I didn't get a shot of little boy blue by himself. Both Bentley and Bitsy's snout is of a medium size and are very similar looking, not too short and not too long. I personally think they both have beautiful snouts I wonder which snout is more desirable???

| Those are great snout pictures! I think they are all cute! I think the preference for most people is the shorter snout. |

| Fred, boy blue and boy green are adorable. regarding the snouts, the look fine to me but im curious what a show dog snout is preferable. Now im also wondering is Gucci snout is medium or small soze, Long or short I still love my baby very much. Last edited by Marie; 05-08-2005 at 03:58 PM. |

| Lol, my hubbie was just asking me why Tiny Baci's snout was long and I told him that it varies by each dog. He thought yorkie's were supposed to have short teddybear snouts. = )
