Awe..Im so sorry... I lost a puppy just this week..on Monday. He was 13 days old and I am physically sick over it. I couldnt imagine 3.

I am sorry you have lost the puppies, breeding is not always fun. I sure wish your vet was more helpful for you, there are so many things that can be wrong. Toxic milk, Herpes, fluid on their lungs and the list goes on and on. I had a friend with a litter of Basset hounds puppies and their vet found an infection and gave the puppies a transfusion and they lived. I maybe would get another opinion. You need some help.

awwwwwwwwww so sorry hun to hear that im sure u are doing everything u can it is just hard to raise little ones without a mommy..... still tihkning of you daily and will keep the puppies in my daily prayers hun... hope the rest stay healthy for you.... all my love...Cindy

I'm so sorry for your loss. It reminds me of when I was a kid. We bred poms and had a bitch who refused to be a mom after her 5th pup was born dead. Within the next 2 weeks we lost 2 more pups, leaving only 2. It was so disheartening Mom and Dad decided not to breed anymore after that. I know how much work taking care of orphans can be. Take a deep breath and keep on going, we're all pulling for you.

The mommy, Lily passed away when the puppies were 5 days old.....and she only got to actually feed them for the first 2 days before she was diagnosed with an infection. Lily and 2 puppies have passed.....we still have 3 pups. We took them to the vet yesterday morning and she immediately gave them moist puppy food......they loved it! She thinks that maybe the formula isn't giving them everything they need now, plus she gave meds. for digestive tract. and something else, I can't remember the name. This is the 3rd vet that we have went to, and We love her! She spent almost an hour and a half with us......between exams, feedings, stimulating, hydrating, explaining everything! We were impressed!

Well this sounds good I hope with all my heart that the two remaining puppies live. This is a very sad thing that you are going through.

So glad to hear that you have found a new vet. She sounds like a keeper. My prayers are with you and the puppies. Please keep us posted.

its heart breaking what youve gone through, great news the vet helped you so much and you like her ....that relationship is invaluable!

Just an update......everyone say a prayer and cross your fingers, cause all 3 puppies that are left, seem to being doing great! They are little pigs!!! When Faith (Vet) suggested moist puppy food, she said to make sure to give them that first and then formula, because she was scared they wouldn't eat it and prefer the milk........WRONG! They love the food and prefer it to the milk. We have to give them the formula first, cause once they taste that 'real' food, they want nothing to do with the milk! Talk about messy.....oh my goodness! It is adorable to watch them eat though. Kiko is up to 8 oz, Saly and Reece are at 10 oz........small I know, for their age..(4 weeks tomorrow), but we have got them gaining instead of losing!! I'm gonna take pics tomorrow and post them for everyone to see how much they have grown.

Thanks for everyone's prayers and condolences.....very much appreciated! I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't have had you guys to come to when all of this hardship come around.....thanks again
