| i should of got my camera out last night see, this why i think hubby told me when i was talking about rehoming kizzie that he didnt care if i rehomed them both. i wonder if i hurt his feelings because i chose her to rehome. he always holds her more than he does maggie but kizzy jumps in his lap, like it or not and maggie cant. kizzy is a big daddys girl. she wants to be where ever he is any time he is home. if he is outside, she wont hardly come in even for a treat even tho shes not right with him. she will stay at the fence or on the deck and keep her eyes on him. of all times, last night he was all leaned back asleep in the recliner. she got in his lap real easy and sat on his stomach with her front paws on his chest, and sat there for a good 15 minutes not moving, just staring at his face before he woke up.she didnt move a bit the whole time. once he opened his eyes she just laid her face on his chest and started fallin asleep. he is pretty quiet about his feelings for her but his actions show me he loves her. wish i had made the pic of her staring at him like some school girl in love. thats what she made me think of. it was so sweet. i just wanted to see how long she stayed like that and not spoil the moment by going past them to get the camera. makes me wonder how i could get so aggravated with her sometimes. mainly because she gets so agressive with maggie and holds her down and takes thing away from her is the main reason, but maggie goes right back for more.

| Sounds to me like you hurt his feelings when you said you wanted to rehome kizzy! Men get very attached to these little dogs. Hopefully you will rethink rehomeing her and keep her and try to train her not to be so agressive instead of just giving up on her. I think she deserves that much effort, dont you?? Everything in life is not easy and especially raising dogs, but if you put effort into it, you will be suprised how things can change. JMO..... |
