Why do they retain teeth? It seems like it's a very common problem... I think I'm getting lucky with this one though, the vet said today Pepper already has most adult teeth and the baby teeth fell out on its own. (When?? I didn't even realize he was teething.....

)

Riley had every last baby tooth in place (along with her adult teeth) at 7 1/2 months old. 2 wks ago she was spade & had 14 teeth removed. She did great! I was surprised at how well she did. I never even wet down her food. She was her regular self the very next day!

Zoe retained a couple of teeth, but the vet removed them last Friday when she was spayed. He also cleaned her teeth and microchipped her. She also was doing fine the next day. She's 1 year and 3 months old. They said her permanent teeth will move into the proper place.
