Oscar gets a topknot everyday and bows on occassion - not because I don't like them, but because Ruthie likes to chew on them when he's wearing them. topknots and bows aren't a gender thing, it's a YORKIE thing!

I tried telling him it's not a BOY thing!!! He is just being stubborn...typical male for you. Thanks for all of your support...he will freak out when I show him how much yorkie lovers love bows...no matter boy or girl!!!

I'd really like to help you out here but I'm in the same boat...my husband says no bows for our boyz too. So...I'll just get a little girl!

Bows are part of the Yorkie charm; boys, girls, biewers all wear bows at home and in the ring.

I love seeing yorkies with bows they look so darn cute. I am still trying to get Peanut to keep he's hair up. Can anyone explain the best way to do the top knot.

I think I am the only one to say NO! LOL I keep Diesel hair cut short on top of his head and long all over. You can see his pic in my avatar. When he had long hair I use to put a hair band in his hair but no bows. I think they are just way to girly no matter what they have on them or what color they are. Just my opinion. My baby is way to macho for a hairbow. With a name like Diesel welll. His name already bring a few chuckles beause of his size.. LOL Add a bow and well...... LOL It is all a personal preference type thing anyway.

I make bows and am in the process of getting a website together. It will have fun, elegant, sassy, boys bows, sports bows all sizes and will be very reasonably priced. Bookmark it and check it out in about 3-4 weeks, it should be up and running.
