| I think I got my baby sick I just got a call from home and was told that Reese has really bad diarrhea and looks like she has been throwing up. I gave her some rotisserie chicken last night and it seems like it did not agree with her. I feel sooooo bad right now. She has a 5:15 appointment for her 3rd set of shots but I called the vet and they said to just bring her in for a sick visit instead. They said we can do the shots some other time. I am the worst Mommy ever!!!!

| No you're not! I am sure she is fine. The chicken was probably fit for that little tummy of hers. It happens all time with Jane. My great grandfather feeds her while no one is looking and Jane gets sick sometimes.

| Don't feel bad! You didn't try to intentionally get your baby sick. In fact, you were trying to treat her! I hope she feels better soon!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | awwww...you're not the worst mom - It may have been a little rich for her tummy - there could be another reason all together she's sick ...but I hope it was the chicken because it will pass thru her system....Good luck and I hope she feels better !! |

| Dont worry.. I am sure your baby is going to be fine.. Sammy had the worst diahrrea one time.. yellow, slimy and very very smelly, I was sure there was blood in it and I thought he was going to die.. I cried for along time.. he was only 2 months when this happened, dr said he must've ate something that didnt agree with him. They are very delicate... so dont worry, and PLEASE do let us know what the dr says ok. Good Luck! |

| You are not a bad mom. We had the same thing happen today too! My dad came over for dinner last night and gave Stomper a part of his rib. Stomper was in heaven! Today...he had a little diahrrea and he is a 9 pound 5 month old yorkie! I can't imagine how a little yorkie would have taken it! Your baby will get better. Don't beat yourself up over it...you did not mean it.

| Don't blame yourself. Chicken is one of the foods they say a yorkie can tolerate. It's possibe the rotisserie kind is a little richer than might be recommended but she will be fine. I am still trying to teach my husband that it's not good to feed the dogs table scraps, but he just doesn't believe me and wants to be the "good guy" with the treats. Boys will be boys. |

| DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP OVER THAT. FIRST, WE LEARN HOW TO RAISE OUR INDIVIDUAL BABIES BY TRIAL AND ERROR. If you decide to try it again, WASH the chicken in hot water to get all the fat and seasonings off. I never give them the dark meat-only the breast meat. If you are a bad mommie, I am horrible. Mine get chopped meat (usually chicken) every single night as a snack...[B] |
