| Leaf Butt! Gracie and I have been doing a lot of walking in the park, where of course there are tons of leaves on the ground. Every once in a while, Gracie will just freeze and won't take another step. This is because she has a leaf stuck in her butt hair! This happens several times each walk these days. I have to laugh. I'm sure it is uncomfortable but of all things to make her not want to walk, leaf butt! Does anyone else experience the same problem?

| Leaf butt is not such a problem in NZ - most trees are everygreen so there aren't the huge amounts of leaves on the ground. But Dixie will often get twigs or bits of gorse stuck on her "undercarriage". And when that happens she'll plump down any place (eg in the middle of a mud puddle) and start pulling trying to get rid of it - although sometimes she'll sit down next to me to get me to do it.

| Nither of mine slow down when stuff gets stuck to their hair.. I suppose they know when they come in Mommie will get it all off. And its even worse at my baby sisters house. She has pine trees that are shedding needles along with the leaves. They bring it all inside. Red98vett, if you find one of those leaf guys for your den, let me know where you got him |

| I am certainly glad to know there are a bunch of leaf butts out there. Sometimes you just can not keep it clean. Try as you might. JUST relax. We are friends here. |

| I remembered this thread today when I had Butch outside. We dont have problems with leaf butt. I have to gather up the leaves Butch carries into the house like his treasures. He always looks so proud of himself when he struts in with them. elli and Butch |
