| A puppy mill in ND burned on November 1st. I don't know for sure this is the correct figure, but I heard 500 dogs perished in that fire! I am so sickened to think of those poor, helpless dogs trapped in that fire! I did not know this place was a puppy mill and when I was looking for a yorkie, someone gave me their number and I called them. They didn't have purebred yorkies, only schnorkies (schnauzer/yorkie mix). Some of the dogs that had access to the outdoors survived the fire. They are now being kept in the barn and in their garage. Poor babies! Here is their website: http://www.wildwindkennel.net/ Here is a page telling about the fire and if you want to send contributions, you can do so. Yeah...right!!! http://208.178.1.179/puppy/ I found a couple of complaints about them on rip-off report... http://ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff144153.htm http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff142996.htm Someone my sister knows visited that kennel and said that in the upstairs part, there must have been 300 dogs in just THAT area! It's a pity they are able to rebuild.

| puppy mill or no puppy mill - i don't think it is their fault. But that is just me...It doesn't make it right by no means... but i know they must feel horrible... poor babies maybe they just went to sleep and were gone before the fire got to them... Now they are running in fields of green... playing and sleeping in the sun... RIP puppies!

| sounds like a hoarder to me what kind of person in their right mind would have so many dogs to begin with and how could you not know a place big enough to hold that many dogs was on fire to try and stop it or at least save the dogs or try! seems odd to me! poor dogs what a horrid way to go they should be banned from having so many more dogs again shame on those "Breeders"
