| ![]() Seymour gets up between 2 and 3 am faithfully....... he is 2 yrs! I think that his "pee bag" is so small he just has to go! ( It probabaly would help if we kept him from drinking water before bedtime.....) Now that he has that habit... I don't know if he will ever sleep thru the night. LIFE with YORKIE.... couldn't be without them!! ![]() |

| ![]() I made some pet stairs last month for Adonis. Venus was still sleeping in her crate. She'd wake me 3 times before it was time for me to wake up. Usually the last time, was to play! I gave up, and since she kept going up the pet stairs to the "big bed" and looked so proud and happy to be up there, I started letting her sleep with Adonis and I. She hasn't woke me up since! I get a full nights sleep now ![]() I haven't found pee on the bed, nor have I found it on the floor. I'm just hoping she's going to her pee pads at night. |

| ![]() All of my dogs have always woken up really early on the weekends because they were used to waking up early on the weekdays. THey usually slept about 1-2hours later on the weekends, but it was still too early for me. Since someone in the house was usually up, I would just open my bedroom door for them to go out of my room, and whomever else was up would take them potty..I would go back to bed ![]() Rocky's pretty good about sleeping in on weekends, and weekdays! A couple times a week he'll wake up at like 9, but most of the time he sleeps until I wake up. I got lucky with him!

How late are you letting him drink? For my parents dog, they don't him any water after either 8 or 9 (can't remember) because then he wakes up at like 3-4am having to pee.

| ![]() I swear my babies have internal clocks! All 4 of them wake up early on the weekdays because they know I will be going to work. So by 7:00 AM, everybody is up and running! Thankfully on the weekends, as long as I sleep in, they are right there in bed with me! Jazzy and Mickey (my dogs) will sometimes wake me up on the weekend, to go potty outside. But that is a simple, stumble outside to our fenced in yard and watch & wait for a few minutes for them to do their business. Then we all go back to bed and sleep. As long as I stay in bed, they do also. If I am home from work sick, they also are right there next to me. I think a lot of it has to do with their environment and what they are used to. As long as I let the dogs out to potty when the need arises, all my furbabies are happy to snuggle in bed until I get up for the day. My youngest baby (4.5 month old Yorkie) will sometimes get crazy when everyone is sleeping,so then she goes in the pet bedroom. And she is quite content there running and playing, snacking etc. |
